Pastor Jeffery Davis
Pastor Jeff Davis, the son of the late Yvonne and John Lee Davis, Sr. was born February 21, 1968 in Houston County. J.D. as he was known by family and friends.
Jeff attended the public schools of Houston County. At an early age he realized he needed Christ in his life and joined Davis Chapel A.M.E Church. He was joined in Holy matrimony to his high school sweetie Dr. Stacy Davis in 2009 and as he would say “My cornbread, my collard greens, my black-eyed peas, my butter beans, my mac and cheese, my ham, turkey and dessert ALL through the night”.
He Pastored at Faith Crossroads Ministries of Fayetteville, NC for 6 years. He served as part of the Deacon Board for several years where he was a member and faithful leader.
Pastor Jeff was employed at Bluebird of Fort Valley, GA. He later became self-employed in which he was an expert at building houses, buildings and putting together anything he wanted for family and friends.
On Sunday, March 29, 2021, Paster Jeff Davis departed this life to be with his personal Savior in Christ. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving, caring and devoted wife, Dr. Stacy Davis; loving children Teandra Lawson of Perry, GA; Samyra Davis of Atlanta, GA , Catrina Davis of Fayetteville, NC, Morgan Davis of Fayetteville, NC, Samantha Stewart of Fayetteville, NC, SaCoya Stewart of Fayetteville, NC and SaVoya Stewart of Fayetteville, NC; A very Special Aunt, Mary Hattie Keen; siblings One brother preceded him in death, Master Sergeant Carlisle Davis Sr. (Loretta), Diana Jones, Valerie Davis, Johnny Lee Davis Jr (Kathy), Connie Jones, USAR Anna (Fred) Askew, USAR Sandy Davis, Kecia Davis, Lizzie Davis, Joseph (Kim) Davis, Chiquita (Ronnie) Plummer, Sabrina Davis; Grandchildren Kanaris, Kamari, and Kaiden a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and devoted friends.
