Remembering....
Orrie Jean Wright was born in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Oscar and Carrie Lee Lowe on September 27, 1947. She received her education in the Macon County School System. At an early age, she accepted Christ and joined Shade Arnold Baptist Church in Montezuma, Georgia. Orrie was married to the late Clarence Wright, Jr. whom she met in Hartford, Connecticut and to this union of four children were born. After leaving Connecticut , she relocated to Perry, GA. which became her home. Orrie had an extensive work history culminating as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Summerhill Senior Living Community. Ora J. as she was affectionately known , unconditionally loved her children and supported them thoughout her life. She alos made it her mission to care for the elderly though her work as a Certified Nursing Assist for over 30 years. Her infectious spirit and compassion had an enduring impact on numerous lives she touched. Orrie fought a good fight, kept her faith, and was called to Glory on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
She leaves to cherish her memories four children: Sandra Wright (Perry, Georgia), Kimberly Wright (Columbus, Indiana), Louwanna Wright (San Antonio, Texas) and David Wright (Atlanta, Georgia) She will also be missed by four children; Ausha Blasher, Marquasa Corchado (Ramon), Kendra Binett (Lamont), and Travon Wright; four great grandchildren; Michael, Morgan, Ava and Jaiylen; one brother Calvin Lowe;paternal siblings; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
