Elizabeth Ann Washington affectionately known as “Mao” was born on April 29, 1955, in Camilla, Georgia to the late Florence Mae Anderson and James Edward Anderson Sr. Elizabeth attended and graduated from Job Corps in Brunswick,Georgia. Throughout her lifetime, she was a hard worker and loving mother and grandmother. She worked many years as a CNA at Summerhill Nursing Home, Hospice Care in Warner Robins, Georgia and Homecare and Rehabilitation Center in Warner Robins, Georgia.Elizabeth was a faithful and devoted member of Liberty Praise Church. Her hobbies included going to church, dancing,and helping others. In addition, Elizabeth enjoyed spending valuable time with her grands, great-grands,and family.On Sunday, January 10, 2021, Liz answered God’s call after an extended illness at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, Georgia. She fought a good fight but now she is at rest.She was preceded in death by her parents.Cherishing her precious memories are her four brothers: James Anderson (Margaret) of Columbus, Georgia, Tommy Anderson (Evelyn) of Fort Valley, Georgia, Willie Anderson (Lasonia) of Warner Robins, Georgia and Anthony Anderson (Shirley) of Perry, Georgia; one late sister, Bobbie Jean Anderson; two children: Deltreas Anderson of Perry, Georgia and Tonia Jordan (Brandon) of Macon, Georgia; five grandchildren: Precosha Anderson, Kaniya Tukes, Quintavis Johnson, Travis Manning Jr., Deshawn Mace and Denzel Rutledge; nieces: Felicia Barron (Mike) and Kesha Anderson;nephews: Robert Rutledge and Adrian Anderson.Elizabeth will be sincerely missed by one living aunt, Ann Kendrick; devoted cousin, Betty Ann Kendrick; devoted friends: Louise Gilbert and Hannah Cherry, along with a host of great grandchildren, relatives,friends and cousins from Camilla, Georgia.
