Ms.Elizabeth Scott affectionately known as "Lead" was born to the parentage of the late Rev.Johnnie and Malissie Scott in Houston County, Georgia . She entered into this world on March 31, 1945 and took her heavenly flight on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Summerhill Senior Living Community in Perry, GA. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Johnnie B.,Edward, James, and Walter Scott; two sisters:Martha Scott and May Pearl Engram. At an early age she accepted Christ into her life and became a member of Mathis Chapel Baptist Church were she served on the Usher Board. Elizabeth graduated from Houston County Training School. She retired from Holiday Inn with 43 years of service. Her Favorite song was "The Storm is Passing Over" and was a woman of few words.
Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memories, five sisters: Johnnie Williams, Vera Childs, Malissa(Elijah) Davis all of Perry, GA., Levia(Tony) Randall, Macon, GA. Pearlie(Bobby) Gray,Warner Robins, GA; a devoted nephew, Nathaniel(Catherine) Scott, Perry, GA; She helped to raised two nephews like they were her sons: Nobert and Johnny Scott; one brother-in-law: Wilbert Engram; She was a devoted neighbor and always willing to help anyone in need and also giving snacks to the neighborhood kids.
