Mrs. Carrie Lee Taylor was born to the parentage of Monroe and Rosa Hill. She was the founder and Pastor of True Church of Deliverance.She attended the public school
system of Houston County and was an employee for the Houston County Board of Education, Perry, Georgia. She retired from the Board after serving 27 years of dedicated service.
She was also dedicated to serving the Lord, loving her family, helping others and having fun.She was strong willed, a fighter and was not afraid of challenges. She passed away at her
home peacefully where her son-in-law and daughter were the primary caregivers. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Taylor, parents,Monroe and Rosa Hill, a sister Mildred Stokes. niece Carrie B.Jackson, and nephew Cleveland Stokes.
Survivors include the following: Children: Hazel Howard (JB),Phillip Releford and Marvin Releford (Jackie); Grandchildren:Victoria Parker and Dominique Releford (lvari); Great Grandchildren: Kambria Smothers, Alizera Hawkins, DJ Releford, Elyse Releford, and KJ Jackson; Stepchildren: Juanita Yuille(Huston), Patricia Trice (Willie), Gloria Daniels (Jessie) and Joseph Taylor (Cheryl); Nephews: Joseph Stokes, Thomas Stokes (Lula) and Eugene Stokes (Pat); Nieces: Rosa Moore(Schmitt) and Rachael "Mama Gal" Dugger; Great Nephews: Jeffery Jackson (Barbara}, Kelcey Jackson (Michelle), Wayne Joseph Stokes and a host of other relatives and friends.
