Winn Oliver Davis, Jr. was born on November 24, 1973, in Warner Robins, Georgia to Winn Oliver Davis, Sr. and Elizabeth May Davis. Winn, affectionately known as “Junior”, was one of four children. He was born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia. He attended Mount Nebo Primitive Baptist at an early age until relocating to Atlanta, Georgia.. He graduated from Northside High School in 1992 and furthered his education at Fort Valley State University. Winn was a hard and dedicated worker. After completion of high school, he worked at Frito Lay in Kathleen, Georgia and later served the federal government as a Department of Defense employee at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia from 2011 until 2016. He transitioned to the Veterans Administration Healthcare System of Decatur, Georgia after 2016 where he worked until his passing.
On July 23, 2018, Winn peacefully transitioned into the arms of the Lord. The power and the strength of his love were special to those who knew him. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving and devoted wife, Mashanda C. Davis; both of his warm-hearted parents, Winn Oliver Davis, Sr. and Elizabeth King Davis; four compassionate siblings - three sisters, Rhonda Davis McGhee and Yolanda (Tracy) Johnson both of Warner Robins, Georgia, Stephanie King of Louisville, Kentucky, and one brother, Devontae R. Baskerville of Macon, Georgia; three darling nieces – Fa’Nya A. Leary and Paris A. McGhee of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Jessica N. Alexander of Louisville, Kentucky; five dear nephews – Debrion M. Davis, Kameron W. Davis, Trenton L. Johnson, and Tameron L. Johnson all of Warner Robins, Georgia, and James N. Alexander of Louisville, Kentucky; a host of other relatives and very special friends.
