Ophelia Larry affectionately known as "Red" was born to the late Sam King and Fannie Kendrick King of Henderson, Georgia on September 12, 1931. She surrendered her life to Christ at an early age and became a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Cleveland "Bubba" Larry.
Ophelia was preceded in death by her brother Reuben James King, daughter Brenda Wimberly, and a devoted niece Mary Lee Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children James (Wileen) Wimberly and Kenneth Wimberly both of Henderson, GA; Susie Rutledge and Carolyn Larry both of Perry, GA; Artie (Juanita) Laidler of Montezuma, GA; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grand; 3 step-grandchildren; devoted family and friends Rosa Kenderick , Margaret Lester, Emma Adkison, Gladys Felder, Ruby Hart, Wylene Sutton and Rosa Pearl West; a host of other relatives and friends.
