Lois (Hill) Collier was born December 7,1932 in Byron Georgia to the late Grady and Beulah Hill. She attended Houston County public schools. She worked for Houston County Board of Education at Perry Elementary School as a cafeteria worker for 30 years. She was known for her cooking and witty outspoken voice in the community. She was a dedicated member of Martha Ann Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her sisters Ruth Whitehead, Beulah Hill, Maudie Hill and brothers Grady Hill and Alphonso Hill, a son Maurice Collier and a grandson Curtis Thomas Jr. She is survived by a loving husband of 60+ years, Matthew Collier, a son Gregory Collier and two daughters Coretta Collier and Valeria Collier, two sister in laws Julia Willis and Lucille Hill,twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. She also leaves behind three devoted friends Mary Faye Doane, Essie Bell Keen and Celestine Radford.
