"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course. I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (II Timothy 4:7-8)
Carol Bonita Dowson King was born June 13, 1961 to the parentage of the late Ira Vincent and Odell Dowson. She was born in Pulaski County and attended school in Peach and Houston County. Carol was joined in Holy Matrimony to the love of her life Wayne King. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized. She joined Warner Robins Church of Christ where she served faithfully until her health prevented her attendance.
Carol had several hobbies. She enjoyed traveling, visiting with family and friends, watching movies with her colleagues as well as her patients at the Medical Center of Middle Georgia.
On April 10, 2018, Carol peacefully transitioned into the arms of the Lord. The power and strength of her love was special to those who knew her. The dear face for the sight of which we hunger, shall look on us again. The voice that has this world so tuneless, shall once more bless our ears. We shall see our loved one be with her forevermore.
