Mrs. Annie Carswell was born on September 1, 1927 in Houston County, Georgia to Albert and Lillie Clark. She attended Houston County Public Schools. She retired from the New Perry Hotel where she served as a cook. She was a member of Davis Hill Baptist Church where she was a dedicated worker in the kitchen department.
She was preceded in death by two daughters Patsy Ezell and Mollie Releford and two grandchildren Antonio Findley and Edward Carswell.
Left to share her precious memories is five sons: Robert Carswell, Williams (spouse, Lisa) Carswell, Larry Carswell, Johnny B. (spouse, Kay) Carswell, and Willie B. Carswell; three daughters: Edna Carswell, Emma West (spouse, Garnett), Cynthia (spouse Felton) Appling; and a host of grands, great grands, other relatives and friends.
