Mr. W. C. Riley was born April 4, 1947 to the late Della Mae Calhoun and Horice Lee Riley in Perry, GA. He received his education in the Houston County Public School System. He was an active member of New Mount Olive Baptist Church where he served many years as an usher. He was employed for numerous years as a logger. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Willie Mae Jackson in 1965 and two daughters were born to this union.
On Sunday, May 21, 2017, Mr. W. C. Riley was called home by his Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Deaconess Pearlie Williams and Evangelist Missouri McCormick; six brothers: Johnnie Sturn, Floyd Sturn, Jet Sturn, Willie Jr. Riley, Julius Riley, and Curtis McCown. 

Left to cherish his memories: his wife, Mrs. Willie Mae Riley;daughters: Sharon (Johnny) Wiggins, Sherrie Jackson (Ronnie); sons:W. C. Riley Jr., Corey Riley; his brother, Henry McCown; seven sisters: Lois Johnson, Barbara Riley, Elaine McCown, Willie Bell McCown, Jenny Riley-Drake, Willie Ann McCown, and Parethia McCown several grandchildren including: Gerald Markee’ McKenzie,Kevis Jamar Jackson, Teraneqa Torsha’ Buckner, Ah’Kyra Jackson;a very close and dedicated friend, Mr. Bowman Jackson and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends;
