Shirley BryantNovember 17, 1946 ~ June 7, 2017 (age 70)
Shirley Bryant was born in Bibb County, Macon, Georgia on November 17, 1946. She was the loving and devoted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Small, Jr.
Shirley received her education in the public schools of Houston County and graduated from the Houston County Training School in 1965. She retired after many years of working as a civil service employee.
She gave her life to Christ at an early age and joined Mathis Chapel Baptist Church. She later united in holy matrimony to Karl Bryant on October 26, 1975. One son was born to this union.
She later became an entrepreneur using her love of arts and crafts to open Dramic Creations, a home-based arts and craft business in April 1995. In 2000 she opened, “My Favorite Thing”, a arts and craft gift shop in Hanover, Maryland. She volunteered her time delivering meals for Meals on Wheels in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
Shirley went to take her eternal rest on June 7, 2017. She was preceded in death by her son Rodney Bryant, mother Annie C. Small and father J. C. Small, Jr.
Left to cherish her memories are a devoted husband, Karl Bryant of Hanover, Maryland;a loving brother, Mr. David Louis Small of Perry, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends.
