On Tuesday, September 19, 2017, God saw fit to carry home a beloved soul, Mr. Robert “Bush” Dollar. Robert was born on November 28, 1927 in Hawkinsville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Edward June Dollar and Mrs. Mary Lou Jackson Dollar.
He confessed Christ at an early age, and attended Sandridge Baptist Church in Hawkinsville, Georgia. Robert was known as a man that believed in being a good provider for his family. He spent most of his life working as a brick mason, and a cement finisher. He was known for building many bridges in Georgia and other states. He was employed for a number of years as a laborer with the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Robert was preceded in death by his beloved and loving wife, Menervia Moss Dollar; two sons, Clarence Morris and Robert Edward Dollar; and siblings; Charlie Dollar, Willie Lee Dollar, John Thomas Dollar, Andrew (Sandy) Dollar, Anna Lou Davis, and Annie Bell Singletary.
He leaves to mourn his passing, three daughters Dianne Brown of Kathleen GA; Lizzie (Kenneth) McMillian of Warner Robins, GA; Lisa (Ronnie) Paige of Perry, GA; one son George Dollar of Hawkinsville, GA; two sisters Mary Shennett of Union City, GA and Margaret Peryare, Newark, NJ; one brother Elbert Dollar of Hawkinsville, GA.; 15 grandchildren, 38 great grands, 18 great, great grands and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
