Mrs. Helen Laverne Singletary was born September 23, 1949 to the late Mr. Mose and Mrs. Edna Stembridge in Perry, GA. She was the wife of the late Eddie Singletary for 34 years. She joined New Hope Baptist Church in Perry, GA. at an early age. Upon moving to Milledgeville, she united with the Flagg Chapel Baptist Church and served as a faithful member of the Senior Missionary Society. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Preceding her in death were husband, Eddie Singletary; parents, Mose and Edna Stembridge; two sisters Louise Culler, and Shelly Stembridge; one brother Chester Stembridge; four brothers-in-law, William Singletary, Arthur Singletary, Thomas Felton, and Aaron Culler.
Left to cherish her memories are her three sons, Gabriel G. (Sharon) Singletary of Bryon, GA; DeAndre (Antoinette) Singletary of Kansas City, KS; Antwon Singletary of Perry, GA; five grandchildren, NaKishya Reaves of Atlanta, GA; Gabriel M. Singletary of Jacksonville, FL; Jacquarius (Toni) Singletary of Sumter, SC; Aarondrick Knox of Kansas City, KS; Anaiya Singletary of Kansas City, KS; two great-grandchildren, Maya Singletary and Jayla Singletary, both of Sumter, SC; one sister, Lelia M. Felton of Perry, GA; five sisters-in-law, Rosetta Jackson of Marietta, GA; Denise (Glen) Davis of Warner Robins, GA; Dorothy Searcy; Yvette Singletary and Katie M. Felder of Perry, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
